IR Laser Diode:

RED Laser Diode:

This LONG CLOSED CAN red diode is capable putting out 250mW + at 500ma!

The laser diode is mounted in a small aluminum bracket with wires as shown.  The diode with aluminum mounting bracket is easy to remove from the optical pickup.  The mounting bracket is made of very brittle metal, and can easily be broken in half using two pairs of wire cutters.  Both the violet, and Red/IR laser diodes are in standard 5.6mm metal cases.  See the pictures below for the complete disassembly process.

The 405 nm laser diode contained in the GBW-H10N is well known for its High Power!  It is a favorite of Laser Enthusiasts.

The optical pickups also contains many potentially useful optics In addition to the 405nm diode.

This Sled includes:

1) Red (658nm) PBS
2) IR (780nm) PBS
3) IR (780nm) PBS
4) BluRay (405nm) PBS with angle reflector
5) BlurRay Diverging lens

Other parts include:

  • -BluRay reflect, ir, red pass diachronic mirror
  • -BluRay, red/IR combiner cube
  • -Micro motorized lens positioner
  • -approx 2″ FL red lens
  • -approx 0.75″ FL red lens

You get (3) burning diodes in every sled!

The GBW (4X) sleds have a 16X red diode in them. This red diode is a LONG CLOSED CAN diode. They are very similar to the LONG OPEN CAN red diode that we get from the LPC sleds.

These sleds are in a LIMITED SUPPLY! When there gone there GONE!

Use care when handling the diodes to avoid damage from static, reverse voltage, or excessive current.

Appropriate laser eye protection should also be used.
